The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity, the Roman Catholic seminary of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis and the graduate school of theology of the University of St. Thomas, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Sacred Scripture. The appointment will be effective August 1, 2025.
Applicants should be able to offer courses in both Old and New Testaments. Seminary teaching experience is desired, as well as an enthusiastic commitment to the teaching and formation of lay men and women. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching at the graduate level and active scholarly engagement in the theological disciplines. Completed Ph.D., S.T.D., or S.S.D. is required.
Hiring will be contingent upon the candidate's demonstrated commitment to the Roman Catholic Church, the ability to obtain an ecclesiastical appointment from the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul/Minneapolis, and the successful completion of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul & Minneapolis’ “E3” Requirements.
