EWTN Pope Leo XIV will celebrate Mass in St. Peter’s Square and canonize the young Blesseds Pier Giorgio Frassati (1901-1925) and Carlo Acutis (1991-2006). Encore presentation will be at 6 p.m. ET.

TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES Based on the 1945 novella Glory for Me by MacKinlay Kantor, this 1946 drama won seven Oscars for its portrayal of three World War II veterans and their troubles and triumphs back home in peacetime. 

Myrna Loy, Fredric March, Dana Andrews, Teresa Wright, Virginia Mayo and Cathy O’Donnell starred, as did real-life Army veteran Harold Russell, who had lost both his hands in military service in 1944.
