2018 - A Year of Scandal but also Hope and Holiness (12/22/2018)

We are almost at the end of the year, and we can look back at a 2018 dominated by the sexual abuse scandal but also filled with stories of hope and holiness. This week on Register Radio we talk to Register correspondents Joe Pronechen and Peter Jesserer Smith. And then we are joined by Brian Patrick and Dominican Father Thomas Petri, about the new radio program The Church Alive.

Coronavirus, Catholic Schools (Aug. 1)

The COVID-19 pandemic has re-emerged as a major health crisis in the United States and around the world. How is the Church responding, and what can be done to keep parishioners safe as they worship? We talk with Dr. Timothy Flanigan, a Catholic deacon and infectious disease specialist at Brown University. Also, we’ve had a lot of news this week on Catholic schools, including an important op-ed by several important Church leaders reminding us that Catholic schools are worth saving. We talk with Register contributor Andrea Picciotti-Bayer.
