St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a full-time Director of Music Ministries, Organist, and Choir Director. The position requires a dedicated Catholic in good standing versed in both traditional and contemporary liturgical musical styles. Music, theology, or liturgical degree is required and proficiency in organ and piano is also required. Position includes overseeing/directly all choirs, including St. John’s Choir, Children’s Choir, School Liturgical Choir, and various instruments. Duties include liturgical planning and budgeting; all Holy Days and weekend Masses; two annual penance services; evening rehearsals; weddings, and funerals. Position is immediately available.

Salary is commensurate with experience. All benefits are afforded in accordance with Diocesan Compensation Guidelines.
