So did an array of new weapons, machines and devices that helped the Allied invasion of Normandy succeed. American Masters: Les Paul: Chasing Sound
PBS Les Paul, born Lester Polfuss in 1915, still plays guitar at a New York City jazz club. His contributions to music include inventing the solid-body electric guitar and multi-track studio recording, as well as a long career in popular entertainment, much of it with his wife Mary Ford. Their hit songs, including “Vaya Con Dios,” have sold 20 million copies.

Pilgrimage: A Rediscovery Of Catholic Tradition
EWTN This 60-minute video by Jack Cashill of Video Post Productions shows thousands, including hundreds of priests and seminarians, at the four-day celebration in Rome in 1998 of the 10th anniversary of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter and of Pope John Paul II’s Ecclesia Dei, which urges bishops to allow wider celebration of the Tridentine Latin Mass. Then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger speaks extensively about that Mass, and we see footage of several solemn Masses and of Benediction.
