Divine Mercy Sunday

EWTN, CATHOLICTV On April 30, 2000, Pope John Paul II canonized Sister Maria Faustina Kowalska (1905-1938) and designated the Sunday after Easter as Divine Mercy Sunday. Jesus had told St. Faustina, “I want to grant a complete pardon to the souls that will go to confession and receive holy Communion on the feast of my mercy.” EWTN will air the Mass and Celebration of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Mass., at 1pm and the drama The Last Appeal: Faustina, the Apostle of Mercy at 8pm.
