To Each His Own Season

Most Americans are thrilled to step outside and see that spring has, indeed, sprung. But the majority still has a ways to go before the weather really suits their fancy. That’s according to a recent Weather.com poll, which found that Americans’ favorite season is fall (named best by 33.7% of respondents). This was followed by summer (31.4%), spring (22.3%) and winter (12.3%). Which opens up the floor for a little Bible trivia: Did you know that there’s no mention of spring or fall in Scripture? That’s because the Holy Land doesn’t see the great fluctuations in climate many of us know, just a hot and dry season and a cool and wet one.
