An April survey by Newsday shows that an overwhelming majority of family members prefer traditional roles for mothers and fathers. Some 74% of women said they prefer staying home with their children to working outside the home, a whopping 83% of children want their mothers home with them and a meager 18% of men want their wives working outside the home.
