Success Story

Publisher's Note

We know that the primary success of the Register can’t be measured in numbers; it’s eventually reflected in our helping Catholics to draw more deeply from the well of truth and life that is the Church.

What can’t be overlooked, though, is the quantifiable success that the Register has achieved since becoming part of the EWTN family in February 2011. In that short span of time, our paid print circulation has grown 72%. In a newspaper-publishing industry in significant decline, the Register is defying the odds.

In addition to the rise of our print edition, online Web traffic to NCRegister.com has also increased exponentially, experiencing more than 200% growth in visits over the same three-year period. The Register’s Facebook page recently surpassed 100,000 likes, and the publication also reaches digital readers via its new mobile site, iPhone/iPad and Android apps and Kindle. Added to that is the success of the weekly Register Radio program.

These consistent and record gains can be attributed to a comprehensive blend of factors, including timely and trustworthy reporting, solid editorial content, inspirational features and expanded marketing efforts.

And, of course, our success is also a direct reflection of your faith in us, for which I am grateful. Thank you for helping to make the Register the biggest success story of the year — for three years running.

God bless you!
