Help Us Celebrate!

Publisher's Note

There are lots of reasons to join us at this summer’s EWTN Family Celebration July 23-24, but I just want to mention two in particular:

First, EWTN will be marking 30 years of service to the Church. We’ll have Mass, Eucharistic adoration and talks by some of EWTN’s hosts. Intermingled will be activities for adults and children.

Second, we want to celebrate the Register’s inclusion in the EWTN family. Register team members will be on hand to meet you and thank you personally for your readership.

The Family Celebration is free and is set for the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex near our Irondale, Ala., headquarters. We hope you can celebrate with us, because you are our partners in this mission. For more information, go to EWTN.com/familycelebration/. Hope to see you there.

God bless!

Palestinian Christians celebrate Easter Sunday Mass at Holy Family Church in Gaza City on March 31, amid the ongoing battles Israel and the Hamas militant group.

People Explain ‘Why I Go to Mass’

‘Why go to Mass on Sundays? It is not enough to answer that it is a precept of the Church. … We Christians need to participate in Sunday Mass because only with the grace of Jesus, with his living presence in us and among us, can we put into practice his commandment, and thus be his credible witnesses.’ —Pope Francis
