Robert Taylor plays Marcus Vinicius, a Roman general who discovers that the slave girl he loves, Lygia (Deborah Kerr), is a Christian. American Experience: The Rise and Fall of Penn Station

PBS This documentary chronicles the design and building of Penn Station in New York City. This massive architectural wonder opened in 1910; it was designed by famed architect Charles McKim, and its support system of railroad tunnels was created by engineer Charles Jacobs. Sadly, Penn Station was demolished in the 1960s and replaced by Madison Square Garden.
