Say Amen, Mom and Dad

Teens who are more religiously observant enjoy better familial relationships and greater satisfaction in family life than their non-religious peers. That finding comes from Mark Regnerus and Amy Burdette of the University of Texas, who recently took a new look at data culled several years ago from 13,000 adolescents and their parents in the National Longitudinal Survey of Adolescent Health. The researchers also found that teen “religiosity” contributes to better family dynamics overall.
