Fighting the Good Fight

Publisher's Note

Nellie Gray, whose death we note on the front page of this issue, has been synonymous with the pro-life movement in the United States almost from the day of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision in  January 1973.
As the driving force behind the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., for nearly 40 years, she also has a special place in our hearts at EWTN and the Register.
EWTN, which celebrated the 31st anniversary of its launch on the Solemnity of the Assumption, has televised the March for Life for many years, and Nellie was always enthusiastic to be included in the Register’s print coverage of the event.
Nellie Gray, a frequent guest of Mother Angelica and on EWTN Live!, shared that same commitment to life that so many of us share, and we will miss her.
Let us pray for her and for all who labor for the sanctity of life — and continue to fight the good fight.
God bless you!
