Papal Visit to Cuba
EWTN In Havana on Sunday, Pope Francis is to celebrate Mass and the Angelus in the plaza at 9am; meet with Raul Castro at 4pm; preside at vespers with priests, religious and seminarians in the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary of the Immaculate Conception at 5:15pm; and greet young people at the Father Felix Varela Cultural Center. On Monday, the Holy Father will leave Havana at 8am; arrive in Holguin at 9:20am; celebrate Mass at 10:30am; bless the city from the Hill of the Cross; leave at 4:40pm; arrive in Santiago de Cuba at 5:30pm; meet with bishops at St. Basil the Great Seminary; and pray at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Charity of El Cobre, Patroness of Cuba. On Tuesday, also in Santiago de Cuba, the Pope will celebrate Mass at the sanctuary at 8am; meet with families at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption at 11am and bless the city from outside the cathedral. He will leave for the United States at 12:15pm.

This documentary tells what is known of the Franklin voyage and follows the epic search mission.

PBS This two-part documentary shows how animal rescue centers in Australia and Costa Rica rehabilitate baby animals and gradually ready them to return to the wild. Part 1 features a koala and sloths. Part 2 stars fruit bats, kangaroos and more sloths.

13th Annual Worldwide Children’s Eucharistic Holy Hour
EWTN The theme for this year’s Worldwide Children’s Holy Hour is “Immaculate Heart of Mary: Our Refuge.” On this First Friday, children gather before the Blessed Sacrament in the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and pray for families and for peace, while children in churches around the globe do the same.
