Timeless insights such as this, and wisdom of his own, are the fare that The American Chesterton Society’s president, Dale Ahlquist, serves up as host of this series, which includes Chuck Chalberg’s able impersonations of G.K. It airs at 9pm Sundays and 2pm Fridays.

PBS Ray Suarez hosts this two-hour spiritual and historical tour of Jerusalem’s sites revered by Christians, Jews and Muslims. A re-airing from 2009.

St. Patrick’s Day

CATHOLICTV At noon and 8:30pm, Trial at Tara, a 1953 film from Father Patrick Peyton’s Family Theater, tells St. Patrick’s story. At 12:30 and 9pm, Archbishop Fulton Sheen, in his Life Is Worth Living episode “The Psychology of the Irish,” displays his love for the Irish people and their faith, courage and humor. At 6pm, the animated story Patrick, Brave Shepherd of the Emerald Isle recreates St. Patrick’s bringing of the light of Christ to Ireland.

Titanic: How It Really Sank

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL This 2009 documentary argues that the reason for the Titanic’s sinking with the loss of 1,517 lives on April 15, 1912, was a long series of human mistakes, from its design and construction to errors by officers and crew.
