Men today want to be more-involved fathers than previous generations and develop close bonds with their children, according to the Jan. 14 Sydney Morning Herald. “More men these days define fatherhood in terms of being involved, care-taking, a nurturing father — rather than just bringing home the bacon,” Michael Flood, a research fellow at the Australia Institute, told the Australian newspaper.
