We're All Abortionists Now

Congratulations, you will soon be complicit in the death of the unborn.

What happened yesterday is as incredible as it's insane. Barney Frank after six appletinis is easier to understand than Chief Justice John Roberts' decision.

It's often said that the two certainties of life are death and taxes. Barack Obama just conveniently combined them for us - with an awesome assist by John Roberts.

Healthcare is now about the redistribution of wealth as well as the redistribution of guilt. We're all abortionists now. But actual abortionists are paid. You actually have to pay for the right to share in the guilt. Awesome new government program, huh? Remember how we've been fighting to have the federal government stop funding Planned Parenthood. Now we have to fight to prevent us from funding Planned Parenthood.

And please don't anyone say they only supported Obamacare because they didn't see the abortion funding coming. That was about as foreseeable as Joe Biden speaking and acting like a concussion victim. Let's be real, the funding of abortion was never a question in this healthcare plan. The Democrat Party has been arguing that abortion is health care for decades!!! How can we be surprised that when the wretched Party of Death promised healthcare, that death would actually be included? That's like going to a Steven Seagal movie and complaining about all the broken forearms and bad acting.

We left it up to the Party of death to define the terms "healthcare" and "religious institution." And we're surprised that it didn't go our way? And please don't argue separation of Church and state and all that stuff about rendering unto Caesar. Rendering unto Ceaser shouldn't include dead bodies, ok?

Conservative Christians just want a little peace among humans, but those against us want little humans in pieces. They're nuts about it. How to solve the problem of unwed mothers? Abortion! Overpopulation? Abortion!! Deficit? Abortion!!! The environment? Abortion!!!!

Abortion is like duct tape for utopia. It fixes everything.

I've concluded that the defintiiton of politics is the art in which politicians decide whether to ignore you, shake you down, lie to you, or all three. Spoiler alert -- it's always all three.

Let's face it, Republicans have been getting beat. Bad. For too long Republicans have been playing ball and Democrats have brought the bats. And the last three years it's actually gotten worse. If this were a Kung-fu movie Obama would be in the middle of the room while a crowd of ninjas all take turns running at him only to mysteriously flip over as they get close. Go Boehner ninja, Go Cantor ninja! Use you pratfall-fu on 'em.

It's painful. When the GOP is set to hold the country's Attorney General in contempt, they scheduled the vote for the day the Obamacare decision broke. What?! Way to bury the news guys. The GOP is  playing checkers and the Dems are playing beat the geeky checker players upside the head with weapons fashioned from chess pieces.

We need to defeat this Obamacare and its related HHS mandate. And we still can. But it's not going to be the court and it's not going to be the politicians. It's going to have to be us. Our bishops have stood up so strongly against the HHS mandate and I honestly believe that people of faith are starting to wake up...a little. Continue praying. Continue fighting. Because if you don't, nobody will.
