Caritas in Veritate Update
There hasn’t been a formal confirmation yet, but as the image of this book cover at Amazon.com indicates, arrangements are well under way to distribute Pope Benedict XVI’s upcoming social encyclical.
Amazon’s main site won’t accept orders right now due to lack of stock, but Edward Pentin reports out of Rome that Caritas in Veritate (Charity in Truth) will be available for purchase July 1, and copies can be preordered on Amazon’s U.K. site. It has already been reported widely that the encyclical is complete and will be formally signed by the Pope on June 29, the feast of Sts. Peter and Paul.
