There was only a cuple of times when Jesus was rejected torned away from. One was when Jesus in the Gospel of John my flesh and blood are real food. The Jewish contemporaries of him turned away how can you say thes it is against our laws to drink blood and eat flesh of a human so to speak. Jesus meant what he said but he knew the reaction he would get. Then he said oh do not concern yourself carnally because the flesh and the blood are of no avail it is the spirit that gives life. If we are true trinitarians and believe that jesus was one with God the father and the holy spirit then of course this could very true for who is to say that at thge time of communion when we call down the spirit that traces of the blood and the flesh transubstantiate into the bread and the wine. Who ius to sat that spirit will not be discovered in the future contain the smallest elements of matter so slight as it may be antanomically. With a further understanding of the Gospel of John I feel this becomes quite clear what Jesus meant . If we are true Trinitrarians then the spirit must contain trace particles of matter. God bless. Dr Thomas
