If you don’t have 30 seconds to spare, here’s a spoiler: There aren’t really any dragons.

If you have more than 30 seconds, read the full review.

Well, that’s too bad about the movie. You looked so sad at the end of the review, which itself was one of the better 30-second reviews.

Lovin’ your rhymin’.

I love your reviews. However, with There Be Dragons I disagree with your conclusion. I thought this was by far one of the best movies since Braveheart.

Wonderful review, Steve! I will still see the movie if it ever plays in the heartland, just as penance for watching “The DaVinci Code.”

I saw the movie. It was the best catholic film I have seen. Great job!

@ Victor & Mama Toad: Thanks!

@ Terrye Newkirk: Sounds eminently fitting! Especially since I gave them both the same star rating (but very different letter grades). :-)

@ Teacher and Bernadette: If you’d only said you liked the film, I wouldn’t blink. Calling it “by far one of the best movies since Braveheart”—not to mention “the best Catholic movie you’ve ever seen”—well, all I can say is, y’all need to start seeing a lot of better movies! Still, Teacher, I’m glad you appreciate my reviews.

I just saw “There be Dragons”.  After listening to a Priest on “Relevant Radio, who had seen the movie twice now. I chose to ditch your comments and see the movie.

It was a very compelling movie with a strong moral teaching of “All being a part of God’s plan” and “Forgiveness”.

I had no trouble seeing the “Dragons” in the movie.  It was very Catholic, so I’m not sure all Christians would be able to understand and follow the concept of the movie.  The thinking was very “deep”.
