Wishing you a blessed feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Enjoy the trailer of Navis Pictures’ St. Bernadette of Lourdes, which we highlighted in an article last spring.

My old favorite is always The Song of Bernadette. The poster art was done by Norman Rockwell. Some clips are featured in this Rome Reports video about the Lourdes apparitions.

Our Lady, pray for us.

And as St. Bernadette said, “Oh my Mother, to you I sacrifice all other attachments so that my heart may belong entirely to you and to my Jesus.”

I watched a movie on EWTN and EWTNes this week starring Sydney Penney as St. Bernadette, but it wasn’t the same one as this trailer advertises. It says the move would be released in January 2010, yet this article is the first inkling I’ve had about it. Is it available on DVD or in a movie house somewhere?

There are two movies with Sydney Penny, the first about the Apparitions and the second about Bernadette’s life in the convent afterwards through her death. They are both very good, but I’d like to see the one mentioned here in NCR. Can anyone help?

Watch the Navis Pictures’ movie tonight on EWTN! See EWTN.com for more information.
