COMMENTARY: The world wounds us early, but darkness has an enemy, and fear is not the end of the story.
“As a result of original sin, human nature is weakened in its powers, subject to ignorance, suffering and the domination of death, and inclined to sin…” (CCC 418)
COMMENTARY: Applying our knowledge from the doctrine of original sin, the Parable of the Wheat and Tares, and the Great Commandment of love of neighbor can go a long way in repairing the damage.
