As June is traditionally the ‘ordination season’ for most U.S. dioceses, the guidelines from the Thomistic Institute on holy orders couldn’t have come at a better time.
COMMENTARY: Until Jesus Christ, celibacy was virtually unknown. Our Lord’s celibacy revealed the essence of his mission, and manifested him as the Bridegroom of the Church.
