PBS This new series examines recent technological advances, their possible potential and the moral dangers they raise. This premiere episode looks at an accident victim who can communicate by his thoughts, thanks to an electrode in his brain. Also, a neurophysiologist discusses nano-wiring being tested in animals’ brains. “Virtual co-hosts,” a visitor from the future and an actor portraying Brave New World author Aldous Huxley, provide pro and con views of technologies being developed or envisioned.

EWTN Tonight’s guest, pro-lifer Gianna Jessen, 29, begins her talks by saying, “I was aborted and did not die.” Despite having cerebral palsy and other harms from the saline abortion in 1977 that nearly took her life in the womb, she is a talented singer, has run marathons and fights abortion through appearances before Congress and the public.
