White House Role Models

Will America’s new First Family help shatter the stereotype of the dysfunctional black family?

More importantly, will the era of Obama help the African-American community to overcome the very real social pathologies that have blighted so many black families and given rise to this negative stereotype?

This CNN article suggests that the familial love, responsibility and stability now being modeled on a daily basis in the White House by President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and their daughters Malia and Sasha could contribute to achieving those goals.

Pro-family Americans of all races are joined in the hope that this is indeed proves to be one of the positive legacies of the Obama presidency.
