Proof that Progressives Hate Catholic Schools and Homeschooling Families

All Your Kids Are Belong To Us, Love NBC.

The only time anyone at MSNBC interests me is when they actually say things that the left believes wholeheartedly but know that actually verbalizing it would mean a p.r. disaster. This is an MSNBC commercial. And it should scare any parent that watches it.

MSNBC personality Melissa Harris-Perry says, according to the transcript from Newsbusters, "We have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families and recognize that kids belong to their communities."

Wait, what!?

Sarah Palin tweeted that it was "Unflippingbelievable." But here's the thing - it's absolutely believable. For years, a mantra of the left has been "it takes a village to raise a child." Maybe what they meant was "The village takes the child to raise."

And just so we're all on the same page. Whose kids are the ones that need to be pulled in to the community? You think it's the kids of secular progressives? Nah. It's you and yours. You see, secularists aren't happy just to teach their young their "bright" ways. No. They want, they need your children as well mainly because you evil pro-lifers keep having so many darn kids.

The media and the public school systems are the greatest vehicles of indoctrination for the progressive worldview. How long do you think they're going to be ok with homeschoolers? How long will they be ok with Catholic schools filling kids heads with hate about traditional marriage and life beginning at conception? Not too much longer, right?

I just have to ask a pretty basic question. When does the community start having a say in family decisions? I'm serious. The left has made it a staple of their ideology that the community has absolutely zero say whether a baby should be born or aborted because that decision is sacred and must totally be between a mother and her doctor. But clearly at some point after that, that child becomes everyone's business. So the choice to kill a baby is personal but the choices on how to raise your child belong to the community.

Believe me, those who say that the community should raise a child think that they themselves are the community. And clearly "the community" believes nobody can tell you what to do in your bedroom but in every other room in the house the community is practically climbing in the windows.

The video is below. I assure you that this is the scariest thirty seconds of video since Cagney and Lacey went undercover at the nude resort.
