‘We are the Church of Christ, his body, his members called to spread his Gospel of mercy, consolation and peace throughout the world, through that spiritual worship that must shine forth above all in our witness of life.’
The Holy Father also reminded the faithful to daily cultivate the seed of the Gospel in their hearts.
The Pope’s prayer comes just days after the Ortega dictatorship canceled the legal status of 1,500 nonprofit organizations, including hundreds of Catholic organizations, and exiled two more priests to Rome.

"The Angelus will be recited from the 10th floor of the A. Gemelli University Hospital," Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni said, adding that the 84-year-old pontiff was continuing to improve following last Sunday's operation.
The Holy Father also announced he will travel to Slovakia in September as part of Vatican-confirmed scheduled trip.
“As the apostle Paul says, the faith that truly unites us to Jesus is ‘faith working through love.’”

An estimated 6,700 people were arrested in violent protests as demonstrators clashed with police forces, who used tear gas and rubber bullets.
