On Thursday there were reports on social media that the TST exhibit had been vandalized but was still on display.
The statue wears a lace collar around its neck, which Sikander has explained is meant to resemble the collar worn by the late Bader Ginsburg, who died in 2020 and sat on the Supreme Court for 27 years.
The vandalism at Holy Family is just one of many that has occured in recent weeks, which is now part of a series of attacks that have been reported across the country in the past two years.
