Anticipating the overturn of Roe v. Wade, diocesan, parish pro-life groups mobilize Catholics to further help women and families, including through the program Walking With Moms in Need.

Since opening the convent across from the Planned Parenthood facility, religious sisters and staff have noticed a considerable decrease in the number of surgical abortions performed.
The ruling was welcomed by Pavica Vojnović, a pro-life leader currently appealing against a ban on prayer vigils outside the Pro Familia advice center in Pforzheim, a city in the state of Baden-Württemberg.

A Rosary rally to pray for human dignity and the right to life also gathered faculty, Jesuit priests and students.
“While today we are hopeful for the thousands of babies whose lives will be saved, we are also hopeful for their mothers. Texas has spent decades creating a vast support system for pregnant women for this very day,” Youman said.
“If fifteen elementary children were murdered today our community and news media would be outraged. Instead, we have become numb to this killing.”
The pro-life activist received the Ruth Institute’s ‘Witness of the Year’ Award at the apostolate’s recent conference.
