After the recitation of the Angelus, the Pope noted that on Thursday he would be celebrating Mass at the nearby commonwealth war cemetery in Rome, in which are buried numerous soldiers who died in World War II.
After praying the Angelus prayer in Latin with the crowd, Pope Francis noted that he will travel to Marseille, France on Friday to attend a meeting of bishops from the Mediterranean region.
Pope Francis also marked the 40th anniversary of the disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi, the 15-year-old girl who went missing in Rome on June 22, 1983, after leaving her home in Vatican City State.

At his Angelus address, Pope Francis said we contemplate Christ with the eyes but even more so with the heart.
