
Spain Passes Transgender Law Allowing Minors Treatment Without Parental Consent

Legislation that would require school officials to defer to parents when a student claims to be transgender passed the Republican-controlled Virginia House of Delegates this week.
The current abortion law, mandating parental consent for girls aged 16 and 17 to procure an abortion, was adopted in 2015 when the People‘s Party was in power.
Magaña warned that the ruling “also opens a very critical and very dangerous door, which is that 14-year-old children can have relationships with adults. Eventually this could create the danger of pedophile relationships.”
Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys said the school district guidance instructs district employees to help children of any age adopt a transgender identity at school if the child requests it, without notifying parents or securing their consent.
