While the Holy See has yet to make an official announcement, the French Bishops’ Conference announced in a May 6 communiqué that Pope Leo XIV is expected to visit France in late September.

More than a dozen U.S. prelates, including the leader of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, have urged the school to change course.
The Church should engage with universities about how to take ‘an ethical approach’ to the dignity of unborn life, the president of the Pontifical Academy for Life said.
Susan Ostermann’s appointment is scheduled to take effect July 1.
Though backlash to the appointment has been growing for weeks, the university has not backed off the controversial decision.
