The Holy Father on Thursday recalled the 500th anniversary of the election of the pope who sought reconciliation during his short pontificate.
“It was by the apostolic Tradition that the Church discerned which writings are to be included in the list of the sacred books.” (CCC 120)
The Christian world, Rev. Alexander Garth said, “needs the Catholic identity, because it would be a great loss for Christendom if the Catholic color of faith lost its intensity.”
“Through the suffering of Christ,” said Luther, “the suffering of all his saints has become utterly holy, for it has been touched with Christ’s suffering.”
