The Via Crucis meditations connected Christ’s sufferings to wounds that young people experience today from mental health struggles, addition, and anxiety about their future.
“It’s just so amazing to see all the Catholic youth from all over the world gathered here together through the faith, by the faith,” she added.
More than hurry or anxiety, however, what these volunteers say they feel is “immense joy” for being able to contribute to something “that will change the lives of a million young people” for the better, according to 33-year-old Audrey Abatol.
