The executive director of the international apostolate that serves same-sex-attracted Catholics and their families reflects on the lessons learned during his tenure.
Father Philip Bochanski, executive director of Courage International focused his closing address on St. Joseph in line with the 2021 conference’s theme.
Fr. Bochanski of Courage International said, “Surely there are other ways that the state can protect people from harm without so widely chilling honest conversation and compassionate pastoral care.”
Since 2017, Father Bochanski has been executive director of the Bridgeport, Conn.-based Courage International, an apostolate providing pastoral support, prayer support, and fellowship for people with same-sex attraction who want to live chaste lives according to Catholic teaching.
The director of the apostolate for same-sex-attracted Catholics said the bishop was affirming Church teaching when he advised on social media that Catholics shouldn’t participate in ‘Pride Month’ celebrations.
A man alleged on Twitter Monday that he and Daniel Mattson began an online relationship in the early 2000s.
Father Philip Bochanski, executive director of Courage International, gave the keynote address at the ‘Truth and Love Conference’ Oct. 23.
