Pope Francis has released his message ahead of the international event next year, imploring young people across the globe to join him in Lisbon, Portugal. Mary is the model who shows how to bring Christ to the world, he reminded youth.
‘Entrust yourselves to the Stella Maris, a sign of hope on the rough seas, who guides us towards the harbor of peace,’ the Holy Father told young people.
‘When we embrace Jesus, joy is reborn. And the joy of Jesus, in pain, is transformed into peace,’ the Holy Father assured youth.
‘They are the sign of hope for us in this catastrophe,’ said Father Toufic Bou-Hadir, director of the Maronite Patriarchal Commission for Youth.
