The case dates back to 2014, when a 35-year-old woman, six months pregnant, was informed that her daughter had a chance of suffering from a rare brain disorder called agenesis of the corpus callosum.
In Spain, abortion has been considered a non-fundamental right since 2010 and is included in the list of public medical services.
