Love them,” said Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who died at age 87 on this date in 1997. Tune in at 2 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for shows about her, the Missionaries of Charity and “Christ in distressing disguise,” as she called those she and her sisters love, serve and sanctify.

An Ice Cream Show

Notre Dame Football

NBC The San Diego State Aztecs challenge the Fighting Irish in Notre Dame’s season- and home-opener. Both teams were 3-9 last season and plan on bouncing back strong. Quarterback Jimmy Clausen will lead the Irish, and Ryan Lindley is likely to be the Aztec’s signal-caller.
