Here are the major ways that Americans will be spending their Thanksgiving, according to an online poll of 3400 respondents conducted by the Guideposts website.

1. Traveling to see relatives and friends — 39%

2. Be serving food at a shelter — 24%

3. Hosting family and friends — 14%

4. Attending church services — 12%

5. Not celebrating — 11%
