Corapi has a lot to think about…Why did he place first himself and the God? It’s easy: becuase his heart was more of himself than of God.
First God, then the Church…
If One devil pursues one million sheep, then one millon devil pursues one ordained Shepherd.Father Corapi please understand this and don’t give him the chance. This trial will show you that you have really done more harm to his kingdom.Try to defeat him through obedience to the church and subjecting your self to the authority. Please lets continue to pray for him and all our ordained priest.I believe that the BLESSED Virgin will inspire him with the virtue of humility and obedience
Why is it so shocking when the Devil attacks a powerhouse like Fr. Corapi? It happened to Fr. Malachi Martin, Padre Pio, John of the Cross, et. But their response was humility and obedience. It may be a long period of trial and suffering. But that’s what Jesus says we are to do. Take up his cross and follow him. Father Corapi has a temper. He knows and has admitted that. I would urge him to take some time to consider his angry response and let God work this out. He will. He always does. But on his time not ours. Get a dispensation. Leave the order if necessary but remain a priest. What a great badge and shield of honor and protection! Please continue to pray for all involved in this dark trial.
I have complete faith in the Catholic Church, but have lost faith in the American Bishops and quickly losing faith in EWTN and NCR. Father Corapi spoke of these flaws long before this happened. NCR’s reporting of this is obviously biased and unfair to his side. The Bishops have a history of abuse of power and mismanagement. Biggest example is the sex abuse scandal. The canon law created over this was not just to protect the public but to protect the Bishops and their image. A prideful thing that they have accused Father Corapi of. First there was no law to protect the public, now the law crucifies the innocent priests. Father’s superior in this case is abusing his power for his own agenda, what is best for him, not what’s best and fair for the church and its members and Father Corapi. In looking at the history of the Bishops compared to Father Corapi’s history as a priest over the last 20 years, why would I not put all my trust in Father Corapi and this point? I will not leave the Catholic Church, but I will continue to follow him as long as he remains is communion with Church teaching. I will continue to support my local church but I am seriously considering dropping my support to the diocese and EWTN. I think that may be the only way the Bishops and the Church will start paying attentions to the people and fix a broken law. Mother Angelica had much controversy with these types of Bishops as well. That is why she made it impossible for them to ever have control over EWTN, yet in reading your articles it appears they do have some control over the it through the reporters.
Since the announcement on EWTN about Father Corapi’s leave of absence I have been saddened and perplexed by this turn of events. Of course God is the ultimate judge of Father Corapi’s soul. But he should submit to the authority of the appropriate canonical hierarchy for proper adjudication of his case. After listening to many of his televised sermons I recall his reluctance to acknowledge the authority of bishops.
It is my fervent prayer that Father Corapi will do what is best for our Holy Roman Catholic Church.
There is so much confustion about Fr. Corapi’s recent video and statement - why doesn’t SOLT speak into this? The whole situation is causing dissension among Catholics and non-Catholics. I wish Fr. Corapi would just return to his community for a while and perhaps he would find some peace and clarity among his brothers there -
