Associate Director of Vincentian Support & Mission Renewal

 Summary: Collaborate with Executive Director and administrative leadership to set goals and objectives for the support, work and expansion of the Vincentian ministry in King County; plan, organize, deliver formation opportunities and trainings. Supervises a diverse team of leaders. 

*Develop a work plan, with objectives and milestone for Vincentian Support, Formation and Mission Renewal teams.

 Evaluate program performance and participate in program improvement.

 *Report on training, engagement and service metrics and other data as needed (e.g. at Board and Council meetings).

 *Supervise Vincentian Support staff and Vincentian Communications

 *Respond to volunteer, consumer and staff questions and concerns related to Vincentian Conference ministry; help to resolve issues and identify resources for resolution.

 *Lead the Formation Committee and Quarterly Spiritual Advisors Gatherings.

 *In collaboration with the Formation Committee and Vincentian trainers/presenters, develop and update trainings and formation curricula for Vincentians.

 *Organize quarterly Council Mass and other special Masses.

 *Develop strategies to provide outreach, accompaniment and support to struggling St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) Conferences that are closed or are struggling to sustain their ministry. Assemble Mission Renewal teams and problem-solve with Conference and parish leaders to create and implement strategies to reopen or regain stability.

 *Facilitate relationship-building and collaboration within and among Conferences and Precincts, sharing strategies and solutions that Conferences develop to address common issues and new challenges.

 *Envision an intentional and ongoing process of recruitment to attract and retain a diverse group of new Vincentians that better reflects both parish communities and the community at large.

 *Works with other staff and volunteers to advance our youth initiatives.

 *Work with Parishes and local priest to raise the visibility and impact of Conferences.

 *Represent the Society as an agency in catholic and non-Catholic circles to grow the mission, partnerships and mission effectiveness in support of the poor and as a means of advocacy in light of catholic social teaching.

 *Work within the framework of the Society’s mission and objectives.
