Why Do Catholics ...?

Why do Catholics honor the saints?

“Let us learn from the saints who have gone before us,” Pope Francis reminded us in “The Joy of the Gospel.”

A fitting reminder for All Saints’ Day, which is Nov. 1.

As EWTN.com explains of this holy day in the Church, “Nothing can more powerfully incite us to aspire with all our strength to the incomparable happiness and blessed company of the saints than their example.”

All you holy men and women, pray for us!
