"Doctors are calling one local newborn baby nothing short of a medical miracle," reported Chicago’s WGN TV station around Christmastime.

"Born in July, the infant was premature by 17 weeks and weighed in under a pound. ... [S]he is finally going home after five months in the hospital. ...

"The Pacynas had been trying for years to have a baby. They say they prayed a lot and took things one day at a time."

Now, they have their tiny miracle, aptly named Meghan Hope.

Said mom Rene, "You have to believe miracles happen."
