“The new $10 will honor the 1913 march and the leaders of the suffrage movement — Susan B. Anthony, Alice Paul, Sojourner Truth, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott — who were instrumental in the passage of the 19th Amendment,” the U.S. Treasury recently announced in its plans for revamping money. 

The reverse side of the bill, to be unveiled in 2020, will feature the five suffragists, who advocated for women’s right to vote.

But they were also pro-life pioneers.

As Anthony once said: “Sweeter even than to have had the joy of children of my own has it been for me to help bring about a better state of things for mothers generally, so that their unborn little ones could not be willed away from them.”

And Paul said: “Abortion is the ultimate exploitation of women.”
