Friends Indeed

p>Catholics have more close friends than non-Catholics. That’s according to the Contemporary Catholic Trends poll conducted last fall by LeMoyne College in Syracuse and Zogby International. Only 4% of Catholics said they had no confidants and just 1% reported only one such friend. More than a quarter of Catholics (27%) said they had 10 or more close friends. These numbers stand in striking contrast to a 2004 poll of the general population in which 25% of Americans said they had no one to confide in.
