Family Saints

Facts of Life

During the week of the World Meeting of Families — Sept. 21-27 — visitors to the Cathedral-Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul in Philadelphia will have the opportunity to venerate the relics of Pope St. John Paul II and St. Gianna Beretta Molla, the co-patrons of the 2015 World Meeting of Families, as well as a combined reliquary containing relics of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus and her parents, Blesseds Louis and Zélie Martin, who will be canonized saints by Pope Francis on Oct. 18 of this year.
