The Bavarian

In this issue, we interview Brennan Pursell and review his new Benedict of Bavaria.

We’re excited about the book for two reasons. First, because it is published by Circle Press, the book publishing arm of the company that brings you the Register. It comes just in time to take advantage of the apostolic opportunity that will arise with people’s curiosity about the visiting Pope.

But, second, the book is exciting in its own right. It feels like a privilege to read this author’s carefully observed portrayal of this man whose “heart beats Bavarian.”

As the Holy Father comes to visit our home, it’s a pleasure to read about the home he came from.

God bless!
