Readers Rejoice!

If you’re a faithful reader of the Register, I probably know two things about you right off the bat. One, you love your faith. And two, you love to read. See, we have a lot in common.

And if you like to read, and have friends who do too, you probably find yourself occasionally searching for engaging, high-quality and authentically Catholic reading materials. Books you’ll be glad you read, books your friends will be glad you sent them.

Which brings me to this: The office next door to mine is Claudia Volkman’s. She’s general manager of Circle Press, the book-publishing division of Circle Media. (Circle Media is publisher of the Register and Faith & Family magazine, along with their respective websites, NCRegister.com and FaithandFamilyLIVE.com).

Since arriving here two and a half years ago, Claudia has done a marvelous job speeding the growth of Circle Press. No small part of that growth is due to Claudia’s selectivity. She came to us with a world of book-publishing experience and a love for the mission of Circle Media. Discerning Catholic readers can count on the thoroughgoing Catholicity of Circle Press books as well as their top-notch quality.

Circle Press has so many great titles that I don’t want to single any out for special mention here. What I would like to do is invite you to visit CirclePress.org at your soonest convenience. Why rush? Because Christmas is less than three weeks away. I’ll bet you have at least one avid Catholic reader — someone just like you and me — on your gift list.
