New Issues Plan

It’s a new year, and we have a new strategy for the Register.

Last year, postal rates spiked and forced many publications to cut back year-round or publish online only. But we learned in our last readers’ survey that our readers prefer the printed newspaper, weekly.

We will continue to publish weekly through most of the year and will deliver to you the same number of issues you signed up for. But now, in addition to skipping the last issue in December, we will print biweekly issues in the summer months, as other Catholic publications have done all along.

Meanwhile, for those of our readers who want even more, we are already providing added content online at NCRegister.com. There, contributing editor Tom McFeely keeps readers abreast of breaking news and developments.

By making these changes, we hope to not only keep the Register going strong — but deliver you more news and analysis to inspire and inform your faith.
