Register Radio: The Grunt Padre Father Capodanno

Mission Capodanno's Judy McCloskey and Register Blogger Matt Archbold

Today on Register Radio, for Veteran’s Day, Judy McCloskey, founder of Mission Capodanno (formerly CatholicMil.org) provides an overview of the sacrifice of Servant of God Lieutenant Father Vincent Capodanno, a military chaplain who was gunned down while giving Last Rites to his fallen comrades in Vietnam in September, 1967. McCloskey shared with us that Father Capodanno’s cause has its first potential miracle attributed to him.

In our second segment, National Catholic Register blogger Matt Archbold speaks with Dan Burke about the myth of separation of Church and state, specifically with regard to an article Matt wrote about one man’s effort to pray the Rosary publicly. You’ll want to listen to the program to hear Archbold’s use of the term “second-hand Jesus.” It’s a winner.

As always, you can hear Register Radio on all of EWTN’s affiliates at 2:00 p.m. Eastern, live at EWTN, or download the show from the Register Radio page beginning at 2:30 p.m. Eastern.
